Our Midwest client firm is a leading provider of Personal Care, OTC and high-end Skincare products and is seeking to expand their team with an individual that has between 4 and 10 years of experience in the formulation of cosmetics, hair, skin, OTC, personal care, or oral care. A related science degree would be appropriate as would some demonstrated experience managing projects.
Since this position will be instrumental in guiding a product through and beyond the formulation stage to scale up, piloting, manufacturing and packaging you will be working with a variety of both internal and external clients. Not every scientist wants to work beyond the bench; some want a full-time lab environment. This is not that kind of role.
Technical skills are only half of the job. In addition we are seeking someone would has the interpersonal skills to guide their project through to final production. Have you identified suppliers, led inter-departmental teams, scaled up, validated claims, and managed processes with budgets and timelines?
