One of our preferred clients, a turnkey provider for big and small cosmetics and skincare brands, is seeking a Director of Business Development to add to their team. This role works with current and prospective clients to develop creative answers to packaging and branding questions through stock and custom primary packaging products.

Because of their strong growth trajectory and sales goals, additional talent is needed. As such a new Director of Business Development position is now available for the right individual who is ready to soar and be to rewarded for their sales accomplishments. This role is a mixture of account management and new business development within the New York City-metro area.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and closing new accounts
  • Analysis of existing clients’ product offerings to make recommendations to achieve additional growth through expansion of our services
  • Educating customers on new products and innovation to create awareness and demand through formal and informal presentations
  • Develop solutions for and with clients in an interactive or collaborative manner before and after the sale (with a dedicated internal project management team)
  • Keep abreast of new materials, product offerings and solutions to advise clients and prospects

Requirements:

  • 3-10+ years of cosmetics or related packaging sales experience OR related industry experience such as Brand Management, Project Management or Package Engineering for competitor or client (brand) company
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management and tracking skills
  • Measurable sales results
